Cart.com is a U.S. commerce company that integrates 3PL fulfillment with its own order management, warehouse management, and transportation management (TMS) software.

Brands use it to store inventory, ship orders to consumers and retailers, and track orders and stock across sales channels from one system.

Cart.com also sells marketplace management, growth marketing, and customer service. 

Constellation OMS

The OMS pulls orders from storefronts, marketplaces, wholesale accounts, and retail EDI into one dashboard. Cart.com names Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, and Target Plus among the channels it supports. Main capabilities include:

• Order routing: The system sends each order to a facility based on proximity, inventory position, and carrier options. Users can set rules to split, consolidate, or prioritize orders, and the system logs each routing decision.
• Inventory sync: Stock levels update across channels after each sale, return, or receipt. Listings can be suppressed automatically when stock falls below a set threshold.
• Replenishment alerts: Users set reorder thresholds by SKU, location, or channel.
• Store-based fulfillment: The OMS supports buy online, pick up in store (BOPIS) and buy online, ship from store.
• Warehouse allocation: Users define how inventory is divided across facilities by carrier zone, threshold, or channel commitment.

Warehouse and transport management

The WMS directs receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and labor planning in each Cart.com facility and includes 194 built-in reports.

The TMS compares parcel, less-than-truckload (LTL), and full truckload rates at shipment and selects the lowest price that meets the delivery commitment.

Forecasting and pricing tools

Cart.com’s Demand AI forecasts demand by SKU and location. The vendor claims up to 55% more accurate forecasting and up to 20% margin optimization. A separate pricing tool tracks market and competitor prices and adjusts a seller’s prices within limits the seller sets.
